Detergent Powder Production

What is a Modern Powder Detergent Production Line Like?

It consists of 7 stages;

1. Stockpiling of raw materials

First of all, the transportation and storage of raw materials must be done properly without damaging the structure of the raw materials and transferred to appropriate storage tanks. Raw material stocks are divided into two separate compartments: liquid raw materials and solid raw materials.

2. Dosing of raw materials

After all raw materials are transferred to the relevant tanks, the raw materials are weighed according to the determined recipe and dosing is done in the mixing containers. This dosing process can be controlled by our PLC units.

3. Mixing the slurry and the "Aging" process

After all raw materials are dosed and transferred to the mixing line via transfer elements, a 2-stage mixing and "aging" process is carried out.

4. Spray Drying Process

The slurry prepared in the mixing and aging tanks is pressed to the spray tower by means of high pressure pumps. and the drying process is started by atomizing the slurry to the top of the tower. The dried particles are collected from the bottom of the tower.

5. Filtration Process

Various filtration processes are applied to purify the hot air and water vapor mixture obtained after the drying process from the dust drawn from the system.

6. Post Blending

Additives such as enzymes, fragrances, colored dots, and all materials that cannot undergo the spray drying process are added and blended with the original mixture to create a personalized product.

The finished powder then goes into storage bins and packaging machines for final packaging.
